Status		Current Mission

Description		Just before the FarVoyager leaves Tassryth Station, the Command Team is approached by the Triune of the Red-Gold Contingent assigned to the ship who give them their first official mission... to investigate an intermittent distress call coming from one of the nearby (relatively speaking) Sector Posts. What the crew discovers is a completely wrecked station, damaged beyond repair, and a single survivor whose only company is a half-mad AI.

Mission Summary

The first mission will be to go to one of the Sector Posts that has been sending an intermittent distress signal and find out why it's sending such a signal and solve the situation. Now the situation as I have it worked out so far is this.

The station is basically wrecked. It looks like it has been beat to hell and back several times. When we approach, the shields are down, but the signal is broadcasting. There is one life sign. Not much else seems to be functioning except for the station's AI who is barely sane and sometimes irrational.

We send an Away Team to figure out what happened. Once the comms are off, the shields come back on (the one life sign has been switching between them which was why the signal was intermittent). While our Away Team is on board, the station is attacked again. Our job now would be to protect the station until we can extract the single person there. Once we do that, he will set off the station's self destruct so that the attackers don't get the tech on the station. As to the AI, he sees this as a mercy to her since she was so beyond repair.
