FarVoyager: Where The Future Comes Alive!
The FarVoyager is a collaborative effort between three great powers, the Interstellar Coalition, the Builder Empire and ShadowDragon Enterprises. For each of these entities, the benefits of this venture are different. For the Interstellar Coalition, they gain the information an exploratory arm could give them without risking a large number of ships to conduct such exploration. The Builder Empire gains assistance in both determining which of their far-flung Sector and Area Posts are still functioning and which are not and also in repairing those that are not. ShadowDragon Enterprises, the corporate entity who built the FarVoyager gains both the expertise of the other two governments' people as well as access to new territories currently outside of their influence. They gain resources both from those far-flung places and the government entities that are working with them. And they only risk one ship and her crew.
The crew of the FarVoyager will be made up of individuals from mostly two of those powers, the Interstellar Coalition and ShadowDragon Enterprises with a few contractors thrown in for spice. The Builder contingent will be less numerous but highly skilled -- they're mostly there to secure the technology their empire had allowed ShadowDragon to use (namely the Interplanetary Doorway) and to evaluate the Sector and Area Posts they encounter in their travels. The crew from the ISC (Interstellar Coalition) and ShadowDragon make up the bulk of the working crew.

Serephima was tired… she and Grace had had their hands full with frightened and anxious passengers. It had taken them hours to calm everyone down. She was looking forward to the quiet of her office, perhaps a cup of tea, before her shift ended.
She was quite surprised to find…

Last Time On FarVoyager...
The team headed out, moving around the bend and to the Lift as cautiously as they had moved up to that point. Once there, Maralen touched the call pad. From somewhere far below them, a grinding sound could be heard, followed by the odd whispers once…

As they exited the event horizon of the Mobile Doorway's vortex, Maralen shook out his fur and tail almost reflexively before wrapping his tail back around his waist. His manner resolved itself into the Calm Efficiency as he looked over his team, assuring himself that they all arrived intact. He…

Karyn was in her element, sort of. It was in the sense that it was scientific in general and to do with wormholes in specific. It was not because this device was very different than her QRS. She was taking advantage -- okay, let's be honest, she had been taking…
