| Physical Description | Amelie is thin, with lean musculature from a lifetime in the gym. She is more curvy than she would like to be and has almost angular features. When she allows her hair to grow long (every few years) she keeps it in an intricate braid. Currently it is cropped short with the longest hair in the back being chin length. Her eyes shift in color with her environment from a slate blue to an almost sapphire color. She takes impeccable care of her appearance and is almost never seen without her makeup done. Her mother’s mark and her father's mark combined, in order to form a raspberry with two leaves, surrounded by a set of two rings, looking almost like a mandala which sits just between her eyebrows. She has multiple other tattoos. Her left arm is covered, shoulder to wrist in intricate floral designs from many cultures. Her left thigh has intricate jewels dripping from a band of lace and satin. Around her left ankle a set of symbols from her own language appearing to be cut into a stone band. She has taken on the human custom of ear piercing, and has 4 piercings, one for each lobe of her multilobed ear. |

| General Overview | She’s a quiet, soft spoken person unless necessity indicates she needs to be otherwise. Having long ago discovered that shouting doesn’t aid her, she prefers to listen and observe. Because she doesn’t blatantly put herself out there, it appears to some as if she’s standoffish. This couldn’t be further from the truth however, once she gets to know people. It is hard for her to insert herself in social situations- being a little shy. She usually has a sultry, dreamy little smile, as if her thoughts about the world around her are constantly amusing. | |

| Personal History | Her grand-mother Ailani was second born of a set of twins on Caeruleus III. Twins, especially twin girls are looked upon with a modicum of not only good luck on their home planet and she her twin lived in a state of near exile because people were afraid they would call the gods to smite them. They were deferred to in the extreme, and neither of them had many close friends due to the mark of the Twain upon them. Ailani became something of an Ambassador when she could no longer take the fear and deference made to her. She made sure that her children and grandchildren knew just what a blessing both life on planet and travelling within the Communion had been in her life. When both Ailani and Aeryn gave birth to twins, they were both amused and a little shocked at the genetic predisposition towards twinning. Ailani’s daughters Akila and Arwen also both birthed a set of twins as their firstborns. Her sister bears a striking resemblance to their father, while Amelie favors their mother. Her father was born on the 1rst moon of the Caeruleus III. The 3 moons, each had very different social structures, based on what sect from the Homeworld actually colonized it. He instilled in his children a love of adventure, and a warning to not make the mistakes that their ancestors made in colony life. He remembered very clearly the strictly controlled life that he lived before he decided to escape. Amelie was more than a little disappointed to not inherit her mother’s birthright of vibrantly colored hair. Akila and her twin Arwen both have the vivid hair-blue in their clan, that their people are remembered for. While she supposed she could dye her hair- she preferred to decorate her skin rather than her hair. She has extensive beautiful tattoos, which she has acquired from the most talented artists in the galaxy. She and her twin led a secluded life, thanks in part to their mother taking them away from Caeruleus III. There were no others of her species on any of the trade ships that her mother worked upon. The twins were true polar opposite, where Arcadia was vibrant and outgoing, Amelie was subdued and introverted. When she- the shy studious one decided to study Medicine, it took her planet-side for the first time she could remember. Gravity was a bit of a problem for her, and it took some strengthening to get her used to the new conditions she was living in. Once she was accustomed to the gravity, she went to the gym daily to keep her strength up. |
